There are very few of us in this world who are blessed with a purpose in life.
There are some of us who spend their entire lives finding the purpose of life. And then there are rest of us who never felt the need of having a purpose in life.
Life is more than just merely drifting in a rudderless boat in the ocean of time.
A lot of people have milestones, but they lack a destination. ‘Milestones’ like better salary, stylish cars, powerful gadgets and bigger homes, surely make us feel that we are progressing. The question is in which direction.
Of course, money and other pleasures are not unimportant. We are here to make a good living. And we do need money for that. It's absolutely okay to have money as the purpose of life. However that needs to be identified. Having just money as the life's goal may not make many of us happy.
Having a purpose gives you a radar and a compass in the ocean of time. It's makes you get out of the bed on a lazy morning and doesn’t let you sleep on a weary night. It keeps your mind occupied with healthier thoughts and gives you a sense of accomplishment. It makes your time and action more meaningful. It dares you to take risks and love unconditionally.
A purpose fuels your passion for living!
Whether your life's purpose is to create a dent in the universe, a fight for truth, building a great business or spreading love, live it fully!
About 15 years ago, sifting through the worn books of an old library, I read a profound quote by George Bernard Shaw: ‘Life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself!’
Don’t spend your life finding your purpose. Create it. Be a master of it.
Sing your song, the world is waiting!
